We are looking for you who have a proved competence as Finance Controller and/or Project Controller. We offer a challenging position in an international working environment and possibility to gain insights and learn financial management in international project business.
You will be supporting the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.
Reporting to the Local Division Controller in the Marine & Ports Division in Sweden, you will be a key player in our organization.


Your responsibilities
Supporting analysis of business performance versus budget and forecasting and proposing improvement actions.
Performing benchmarking of key performance indicators and working with managers to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends.
Preparing financial modelling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact to organization.
Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.
Overseeing that the accounting is reported in line with ABB Group accounting and reporting policy, USGAAP and local statutory accounting.
Working in close cooperation with managers, project leaders and Local Division Controller to develop and maintain a high level of finance control.
Validating accuracy of financial data and business information.



Your background
A bachelor’s degree in Economics or similar
Previous experience of working as a Finance Controller and/or Project Controller is essential
Strong SAP knowledge and good Excel skills
Flexible, pragmatic and analytical, able to convey different opinions without conflict
Able to work with multiple stakeholders from many layers of organization and under time pressure
Proactive, result-oriented, looking for opportunities where others might see a problem and able to take responsibility within your area of responsibility
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken alike
