At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.

As we grow and scale our product to the global market, the strategic bets we take on will have a bigger potential impact on more users, and will nurture a more diverse community. As a result, the localization demands across the organization are growing and becoming more complex. To ensure the localized product will reach a high quality and a high completion rate, we work closely with various teams to deliver cross-team projects efficiently.

Therefore we are now looking for a Localization Coordinator to boost the cross-functional operations, help build better processes, support fast-paced productions, explore new possibilities, and partner with the Localization Manager to accomplish successful localization projects.

How you will make an impact

You will handle and support the localization requests coming from various product teams and functions, monitor localization orders progress and make sure the deliveries will be on time, track and manage the translation quality by carrying out the internal reviews and LQAs, update and communicate the timelines to stakeholders, and help the Localization Manager to improve production capacity and language coverage.

You should be willing and able to handle a heavy administrative work, and with a strong interest to develop your localization project management skills.



Who you are/what you have:

- 2 years+ project management experience in the IT industry or in localization.

- You are detail oriented with excellent and proactive organizational skills. And have good skills of prioritization and time management.

- You have great communication skills in English, and you are proficient in at least one other language (for example but not limited to: Spanish, Japanese, German).

- You are knowledgeable with office software, like Excel spreadsheet, and translation tools like Trados, MemoQ, and agile project management tool, JIRA.

- You are a team player and self-motivated to learn.

- You are not afraid of new challenges and multitasking.
