Logistics coordinator

On behalf of our customer- a well known car battery manufacturer, we are now looking for a skilled Logistics coordinator for a short term assignment starting immediately. 

About the role

As the Logistics coordinator you will be responsible operational support and execution of various logistics activities..

Your main tasks will include:
• Main operational contact regarding logistical execution
• Organizes, books, oversees and follows up transport and warehousing activities
• Takes part in drafting of Standard Operational Procedures as well as other standards, requirement sheets and processes ensuring logistically optimal and safe operation,
• Collect, manage, organize and analyse logistical data, seeking improvement possibilities,
• Supports and coaches Logistics Interns
• Continuously improve overall logistics operations 

This is a consultant assignment starting immediately and you will be employed by Adecco.

About you
We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of experience and the following attributes:

• Fluency in English
• Bachelor´s or vocational degree in Logistics or related field
• proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in handling databases and ERPs
• Beneficial if previous experience in Logistics
