The Logistics coordinator supports the Staging Manager in the daily work and assists with administrative tasks. The coordinator works close to the shift supervisors, prepares and holds trainings for associates, supports in onboarding of new hires, works in projects and supports the management with new routines and implementing procedures. The Logistics coordinator works to continuously improve routines and the work environment in accordance with DBS by using DBS tools like 5S, PSP, DM etc. The coordinator represents the Logistics (staging) department in meetings and projects together with other departments within the company. Daily Challenges are escalated to manager.
Main responsibilities and tasks
Support the Logistics management team with administrative data
Update daily management/+QDIP
Point of escalation of PCS (attend priority needs). Help Supervisor to prioritize between resources and needs.Logis
Define and distribute tasks to different shift leads. Give support to team leads and material handlers. Ensure communication work between all shifts.
Ensure all personnel execute work in same way according to SOP and identify need for additional training and correction.
Support training and onboarding of new staff.
Support with optimizing processes. Compare SOP with execution. When necessary identify gaps ensuring that SOP are updated accordingly.
Constantly improve work environment, ensure 5S is executed according to set expectation. If necessary, ensure that other departments do what is expected by them by open dialog with other supervisors.
Report and register bad or unacceptable behaviour to superior. Be eyes and ears to identify if employee needs psychological help/support.
When asked for, attend QDIP, Kaizens, UAT testing, Inventory counting etc.
Give input to supervisor regarding P4G parameters and performance.
If necessary, stand in when personnel are absent, and department need to have additional support (can’t operate with absence)
Follow up on incoming assignment is executed and revert to PSC team or similar (to whom sent in assignment) in a timely manner.
Help in implementing different projects such as WMS updates and barcode reader improvements.
Be present and if necessary, take lead when “bin audit” and Inventory count are required
Support the NC process.
Initiate purchase requisitions.

Competence and experience
Multi-year storage experience
A burning interest in warehousing and logistics
Merit if you have had additional responsibilities in your services, such as back-up for supervisors and Manager

What experience is required:
Truck driving license (TPL10) and good experience of driving forklifts.
Swedish citizen and 5 years work documentation for Known Consignor application (Känd avsändare)

Education / Desired education:
High School education with technical or science profile, or equally contributing working experience.
Good planning skills
Good computer skills (including the Office package)
Good communication skills
Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written
Good English, spoken and written
Experience in handling various quality and support/maintenance software systems as Agile, SAP, RAM, Compliance Wire by UL, Pilgrim (Smart Solve)
