Now it’s your opportunity if you are looking for an exciting challenge! We are looking for a Logistics Manager to our plant in Raufoss, Norway.
About the position
As Logistics Manager you are expected to
Ensure that internal and external logistics contribute to reach the company's targets regarding capital employed, delivery performance, productivity, HSE, Quality and relevant financial key performance indicators
Ensure that all external and intercompany customer requirements are met.
Improve continuously together with production, sales and purchasing the BU value stream
Establish and meet key performance indicators for logistics

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Establish targets for delivery precision from suppliers and towards customers, and establish targets for inventory level (raw material, work in progress, finished goods)
Monitor and proactively implement actions to optimize inventory level
Follow up suppliers’ ability to deliver right products at right time, thereupon ensure that actions are taken to correct eventual deviations.
Ensure that logistic procedures are followed through the organization
Be the customer contact within the area of logistics
Establish guidelines for best practice regarding internal logistic
Monitor, analyze and optimize lead times, GR processing times, lot sizes e.g. (ref. SAP data)
Carry out logistic audits according to internal and customer requirements
Actively coordinate logistic issues between production, logistic and purchasing
Establish weekly reporting system of key performance indicators within the area of logistic
Security manager for air cargo database, Civil Aviation authority, secure training an awareness in the organization and implement quality control to secure that methods and relevant security regulations are accordingly
Requirements (ideal)
A minimum of three years college/university education
Additional knowledge of management/economy/logistics
At least 5 years of management and/or logistics within a product-oriented area
A minimum of two years with extensive ERP solutions
Independency and ability to carry things through
Flexibility and integrity
Good decision maker
Good written and oral presentation skills.
English and Norwegian/Scandinavian language
