We are looking for a Logistics & Operation Specialist to support our Laboratory Director with full accountability for the management of our technical activities, including sample shipments, clinical supplies, management of the logistics partners, procurement as well as customer services.

Key responsibilities in the role
The Logistics & Operation Specialist reports directly to the Laboratory Director and your main responsibilities will be to drive the smooth running of the day-to-day service and operations management. That includes:

- A hands-on monitoring of shipments and where required follow-up on outstanding inbound/outbound (e.g. patient samples, sampling material)
- Build, maintain and own collaboration with our subcontractors and vendors for courier services
- Review and approval of service invoices from subcontractors
- Drive issue resolution
- Optimise logistics solutions for ongoing projects
- Support monthly performance reporting

Further, our ideal candidate will take on an advisory role and collaborate with our Business Development team for provision of specialist level tender input on logistics solution/setup and assist in negotiations, occasionally face to face with clients and suppliers, for our GCP studies and other pharma projects.

Skills & Competences we are looking for:

Finally, we are looking for someone to help increase operational agility, act as role-model for his/her colleagues taking the responsibilities of logistics a to the very centre of what we do

- Relevant educational background. Maybe within the mercantile field or similar at Bachelor level or a Diploma Graduate
- Approximately 8-10 years of experience from a similar position
- Knowledge from handling of air service/courier (IATA certification preferred)
- Ideally working experience with shipment of biological samples or cold chain
- Ideally working knowledge of GLP and/or GCP
- IT knowledge at user level is required
- English and Danish language skills required - other European languages are desirable
