Packaging Materials division - Logistics is responsible for end-to-end global Logistics from Board Mills located in Sweden, Finland and Poland to final destinations worldwide.
As Logistics Business Analyst your role is to follow up performance and support Logistics to achieve the strategic targets. Together with the colleges in the team, we drive the development of Logistics strategic agenda and initiates changes by target settings and analysis. You will follow up the logistics costs, KPI:s and by data analysis identify potential improvements. You will also be an important stakeholder to drive the business requirements for Data (BI) management; to enable visibility, control, and to continuously develop the fact-based analysis for the strategic agenda.
Your location will be in one of our offices in Sweden, Finland or Poland and you will be working in Packaging Materials Division. You will report to Head of Logistics Strategy, and work as part of a matrix organization, cooperating cross functionally with other controlling functions and stakeholders. We apply hybrid way of working meaning that in this position you can work flexible remotely and in the office. This position requires limited travelling.
Responsibilities include:
KPI follow up
Logistic spend follow up and forecast
Risk management
Follow up Logistic investments and evaluating outcome.
Analyze logistics data to identify constraints and inefficiency, as basis for potential improvements to reach strategic targets
Business case creation (financial appraisal, benefits, etc)
Provide reports and information to visualize Logistics performance
Input to support management decisions
Support Packaging Materials Controllers with Logistics input
Continuously improve data quality related to the Logistic cost follow up
Business intelligence to build management awareness for follow up, decision support and identifying continues improvements.

Initially, you will establish the capabilities and structure for the role in the Logistics Strategy team.
Who are we looking for?
You have a Universtiy level edcation in engineering/technical or economics/finance, with experience of Suppply Chain and at least one-year professional experience working with Logistics. Experience of a Business Analyst or Business Controller role is a merit.
As a person you are a team player with stamina and desire to work as part of a high performing team. To succeed in this role you must be pragmatic, result oriented, structured, and self-driven. Strong analytical skills are important, with ability to manage complex data analysis translating the results into actions and recommendations. You have good attention to details but know how to put your focus on the value adding and most vital factors. Good collaborative skills and comfortable working in a network with a wide variety of contacts is also important in the global Stora Enso environment.
As part of the team with logistics strategy professionals, you are flexible to support in whatever task your individual capabilities and experiences adds value.
Additional skills we expect you to have:
Advanced user in Excel required. MS Power BI competence is a merit
Capacity to understand cause and effect relationship
Self-driven, proactive, and willing to take initiatives
Strong business and customer-oriented acumen.
Communication skills: verbal, written and presentations. Fluent in English
