Responsibilities

- co-ordinate operational transhipment issues, main responsibility for cargo ex Americas

- co-ordinate operational transhipment issues for other lines' cargo

- support negotiations of feeder contracts/agreements

- give input on performance of feeder operators

- pricing/offering rates for transhipment/other lines' cargo, back-up function

- handle standard costs/cost deviations relating to transhipments, back-up function

- provide the ports/re-loading ports agreed freight rates for transhipment and other lines' cargo and give instructions to this effect

- support and maintain transhipment tariff, back-up function

- define feeder strategy by recommending and implementing optimal transhipment alternatives, service- and price wise, in line with the requirements of the trades
