Market Segment Manager - Demanding Consumer


Priorities of the Role is working within the overall strategy of the Husqvarna Group and to support the Marketing Manager with the development, management and execution of appropriate marketing strategies that further develop the Husqvarna business within the demanding consumer market.

Key Areas of Responsibility
?To understand the market, competitors, products, customers and consumers within the Demanding Consumer market in terms of size, trends, activities and needs
?To use this information in conjunction with the relevant product categories and marketing/sales organisations to develop appropriate strategies and activities that will enable the development of the business within this market
?Working closely with the relevant product categories to input into the product generation plan for the Demanding Consumer group
?To input into pricing strategy for products for the Demanding Consumer Group and to support the development and execution of the product positioning and communication of these products
?To support the development and execution of product launches to the Demanding Consumer group, working within the Commercial Launch plan process.To ensure all support materials are available for the launch and communication of products for all relevant markets
?In conjunction with the Regional Sales/Marketing organisations develop and contribute to the execution of marketing strategies and actions that are commensurate with the development objectives for the Demanding Consumer Group and their respective products within the various sales regions.

Competencies needed
To succeed in this position you should be an experienced marketer with at least 5 years experience of working within an international business environment.Most likely you have a University Degree in Marketing & Communication or Business Administration.You have to be able to demonstrate a track record of working with successful product launches to an international market.
Language: Fluent English language required, French and German are advantages.

We are looking for an individual who is excellent in communication, project management and presentation skills.You are ready to take initiative and work independently in a fully global team.
We estimate the number of business overnights stays to 25 - 30 per year.

You will report to the Brand Marketing & Communications Manager.
