M&A Analyst

About the role

You will work on Storytel’s mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and other corporate transactions. In this role, you will support the M&A Manager with all tasks included in a transaction process, from lead search to integration. The role is wide and includes varied tasks such as meeting with companies across the world, performing financial analysis and creating presentations to Storytel’s management and board. You will be part of a small team where you will get responsibilities quickly and be provided with lots of opportunities to grow.

Examples of responsibilities:

- Identify new potential acquisitions
- Build valuation and financial models
- Prepare and evaluate business cases
- Support the M&A Manager with coordinating and performing due diligence and integration processes

To be successful in the role we believe that you have:

- Academic degree within Business, Finance or equal
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience, either from the investment banking sector, transaction services, financial advisory or a management consultancy.
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
- Experience working with Excel and PowerPoint or similar tools
