We are seeking a Mainframe System Administrator for our client in Oslo.

As a Mainframe System Administrator zOS, you'll solve complex problems, manage systems data, and ensure security compliance for major clients. You'll work on modernization, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with teams to deliver solutions. This role offers opportunities to recommend strategies, identify new opportunities, and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

Must have:


MVS SMP/e skills and foundational knowledge of zOS systems

Proficiency with common zOS system tools such as TSO, ISPF, SDSF

Experience with zOS system administration, including system installation and maintenance

Familiarity with zOS ISHELL/OpenMVS

Understanding of Mainframe z/OS system operations

Experience with Mainframe product installation

Proficient in English (must have)


 

Nice to have:


Experience with GDPS systems

Vulnerability management expertise

Familiarity with ticketing tools (SM9, ServiceNow)

Coordination or subproject leadership experience

Mainframe-related certifications are a plus

This position is open to candidates who are citizen of an EU country or hold a valid work permit for Norway.
