We are seeking a Mainframe System Administrator  for our client in Oslo.

In this role you will solve challenges, manage client systems, ensure security compliance, and deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to recommend modernization strategies, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain expertise across industries.

Role Highlights:


Address complex problems and identify potential future issues across various platforms and services.

Stay updated on new technologies and modernization efforts while working with prominent clients.

Manage systems data for clients and ensure compliance with security standards.

Prioritize assignments and collaborate with technicians to deliver optimal client solutions.

Gain expertise across industries such as banking and retail or specialize in a specific sector.

Recommend modernization options and identify new business opportunities.

Cultivate relationships with teams and stakeholders to enhance collaboration.

What You Bring:


Experience working with z/OS UNIX System Services or UNIX and related products.

Experience Installing, maintaining, and configuring products like Websphere Liberty server, z/OS Connect , IBM Integration Bus and Apache HTTP server (IBM and Tomcat).

Experience working with crypto related solutions on z/OS.

Understanding of z/OS and subsystems like IMS, DB2, CICS, MQ, TCP/IP.

Proficiency with common zOS system tools such as TSO, ISPF, SDSF, ISH, zOSMF.

Proficient in English.
