Maintenance Engineer

The Parts and Services division is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to be part of the Project Office in Örebro.
You will be a part of a relatively new Maintenance Engineer team which was created one year ago. The team has a great possibility to influence the future ways of working so the willingness to contribute in an innovative way will be important in this role. You will have a tight cooperation with your colleagues in Örebro as well as with our Customer Centers globally.

Your mission
Your mission will be to coordinate the maintenance strategy development on our products. This means that you will be a part of our product development projects to optimize the design from a service perspective to make it safe, cost efficient, and minimize unplanned stops. To prepare the maintenance plan you will use methods like FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance).
You will also have an important role to define what parts shall be in stock as spare parts and document needed spare part kits in our PLM system. You will work closely with our Research & Development department through the complete product lifecycle with the approach that there are always ways to improve our maintenance strategy and design. You will do that by using feedback from our customers and service organization.
You will contribute to find new service business opportunities on our fleet by helping our service and marketing organization with product improvement proposals, new improved tools and processes. To be successful in this role it is important that you have the motivation to be innovative and take your ideas all the way to implementation.
Your profile
We see that you have a University degree in engineering and/or several years of practical engineering experience. Previous Mining, Heavy Equipment or Construction experience is desirable. You have good English communications skills both written and verbal. Project and/or change management knowledge desirable. Experience from analyzing large amounts of data and a good understanding of control, hydraulic and electrical systems is beneficial.
You have good computer skills and experience to work with complex excel work sheets. PLM knowledge like Siemens Teamcenter and experience to read and understand product drawings are also beneficial. Previous FMECA and RCM experience is desirable as well as experience from ERP and EAM systems. You are a team player with a high quality commitment. You also have an exceptional desire to deliver best practice solutions for our customer’s businesses.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
