Manager 26332 Implementation Assignment Leaders

In the challenging and expanding area of Electronics and Software Engineering, we are now looking for the right individual to lead our group of implementation assignment leaders. The group has a responsibility to secure progress and coordination of technical work packages in the implementation phase of the projects. A main task of the assignment leader will be to lead the supplier agreement management in close co-operation with purchasing. It is also in his/her mission to coordinate the work and the resources internally needed to continuously secure technical progress of the specific assignment. As group manager you will lead and develop a group of 10 skilled engineers. You will coordinate corresponding sourcing teams within our Electrical Architecture platform project. Together with your colleagues and co-workers you will contribute to the operational development at department, section and group level and be responsible for fulfillment of line as well as project targets. You will be a member of the management team for Functional & Software Engineering and report to the section manager. You will be responsible for: - Operational development - Resource and competence management - Cost center responsibility - Active support to projects in meeting Quality, Cost, Delivery and Feature targets - Development of processes, methods and tools within responsibility area - KPI fulfillment Profile and qualifications: - Masters degree within electrical engineering, computers science or similar - Proven Leadership skills with a drive for improvement of people and processes - Supplier management experience - Product development experience - Highly developed communication skills - High business and customer focus - Fluent in English - Positive mindset At Volvo 3P we are actively working to establish groupings that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent in differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality etc. We find that well balanced working groups increases group dynamics, creativity and new approaches to solutions.
