Manager Customer Projects

Are you customer-focused, willing to cooperate and want to make a change? Business Unit Marine is now looking for a Manager Customer Projects for our Tank Gauging Product Line. The team drives the activities related to a customer order from the initial phase before the order is won until a timely delivery of the order. The team consists of 9 members in Mölnlycke, Sweden and 2 in India. This is a great opportunity for you who are interested in leading customer focused and technical skilled people and have a curiosity about the business.
The marine industry currently undergoes a technology shift within several areas where Emerson strives to be the leader. We see growth opportunities within the entire value chain using existing offerings as well as new offerings, with respect to products and services. Digitalization and introduction of alternative fuels to help accelerate decarbonization towards a zero emissions future for the shipping industry are some of the focus areas. You cooperate with our global, dedicated, customer project execution organization to bring our message to the market and make us become a winning team.


What you will do
As Manager Customer Project you will provide direction and leadership for both the local Customer Project team but also the Global Customer Projects teams located in Asia, Middle East and Europe. You lead the work of continuous improvement for project execution excellence and optimization of processes and tools. Close to your heart is to develop the team members, so they can perform at their best and grow as individuals. Success in this role requires a customer focused individual with business insight and a lot of drive for result.


Who you are
We believe you want to grow your future career here at Emerson. We see you with a degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of managerial experience, fully fluent in English and preferably with a good knowledge in Swedish.
You have a true interest in leadership and thrive when you can influence and make people around you find new ways by mentoring as well as leading by example.
You will travel to visit and meet with both internal and external customers as the need arises. Travel time is estimated to 10-15%.
