Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

We are now looking for a new colleague to join us in this exciting and dynamic environment and really get hands on in driving the shift towards sustainable transport solutions.

One important step towards sustainable transport solutions is the introduction of BEV (Battery Electrical Vehicles). Right now are we running several investment projects to set up the BEV production processes and we have high ambitions on the digital tools supporting it.

Your Assignment

You will lead the awesome IT team that has the responsibility to secure that we have the right digital tools to support the production of BEV vehicles. Your main focus will be on ME (Battery production) and MS (Final Assembly) units in Södertälje.

Since the ambition is high and the timeline is short will this put high demands on you and your team to work close with the units and the ongoing projects. It is crucial to understand the ambitions and align  expectations on the deliverables.

The coming year will there be high focus on the implementing projects but it is also important to secure that we will have the right support level to the present operations.
