Manager Hardware Engineering

As Manager of the Hardware Development group you will lead a team of 6 people and report to the Global Director for R&D.You will work both within projects and independently with development and maintenance of products as well as securing continuous improvement of the team.
You and your team participate in the entire design chain from specification to the end product.
The work includes among other things:

" Develop specifications for new products och and for modification of existing products.
" Analog and digital design, simulations, PCB layout, prototypes, functionality- and EMC testing and interfacing with our production unit.
" Products include simple passive solutions, smaller devices using PIC processors up to our next generation of advanced Ethernet based microcontroller solutions using an ARM9 processor.
" Different communication solutions include Ethernet, Lonworks, and USB.

The position is placed in Malmö and you will work closely with the production unit in Stockholm and the Hardware Development group in Boston.
You need a relevant university degree of at least 3 years and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.As English is our corporate language we require the ability to clearly, concisely and effectively express oneself in English verbally and in writing.
We expect you to have documented experience in leadership and extensive experience of electronics design.
