Job Scope
High level purpose of function
The Manager - Mechanical Recycling will be responsible for building up and managing a skilled Revolt engineering team focused on the Mechanical Recycling steps of the battery recycling processes. This team and its manager will be responsible for the installation and startup of new Mechanical Recycling facilities from Concept through Operational Handover including: Equipment and Vendor selection, Process and Equipment design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing, Installation and Commissioning support, and Site Acceptance Testing. The team will also help train the Operations team at the new sites and assist with Operational Readiness activities such as: the development and review of Procedures and Work Instructions (WIs), plans and test protocols for equipment, risk assessments, summary and status reports, and other commissioning and qualification deliverables. The Manager of Mechanical Recycling will also provide input and guidance for process improvement and business strategy, customer testing, and R&D activities related to the Mechanical Recycling processes. Must have extensive experience in the field involving the completion of innovative and insightful plant and equipment installations with a focus on< safety, quality, and yield.

The Manager - Mechanical Recycling is reporting to the Vice President Manufacturing – Revolt AB.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Overall areas of responsibility and activities
· Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop engineering team to ensure the progress of the members and the advancement of the technology of the process.
· Work closely with Project, Vendor, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
· Review equipment and process designs to ensure that best practices are followed regarding HSE, engineering, and maintenance are accounted for in the design.
· Approve and assist in equipment and vendor selection, commissioning, qualification, and validation, including Design Reviews, FAT, and SAT.
· Work with the Project and Operations teams for final handover of the new equipment and provide final sign-off of the tested equipment.
· Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making so that the technology strategy is aligned with the long-term vision, mission, and objectives of the organization.
Requirements
Education or other qualifications or competences relevant in order to succeed in the job
Qualifications/education/experience
· A degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering, BSc, MSc or similar.
· Minimum 5+ years of working experience in Equipment Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Specific skills
· Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and process design.
· Advanced knowledge and understanding of mechanical principles and industrial process flows.
· Experience in a fast-growing environment, ideally in manufacturing, recycling, or mineral processing.
· Good problem-solving skills, understanding the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
· Experience with vendor, supplier, and customer (both internal and external) cooperation.
· Ability to plan, develop and execute multiple projects under tight timelines.

· Often traveling among different sites of Revolt is required.
