The subdomain Network Engineering and Planning, a part of Operational Support Systems, has the objective of ensuring the performance of the support systems for Inventory Management, Documentation, and Network Planning and Expansion.


This is the job
As Manager Network Engineering and Planning, you will be heading a strong team of 20, working within the domain having responsibility for the full stack of support systems based on own developed and commercial off-the-shelf systems. This includes a strong focus on customer journey in combination with end-to-end process perspective.
As part of fulfilling this role you will collaborate tightly with your colleagues and be part of a leadership team headed by the division manager of DCT (Digital Capabilities & Technology) Operations.


Responsibilities include
Ensure outstanding leadership and management of your team in good accordance with the Tele2 core values.
Define and drive progress towards target architecture for the Tele2 end to end processes, the support system architecture and the underlying data model architecture.
Ensure the effectiveness of the team and has a healthy balance of innovation and reducing technical debt.
Define and drive the transformation from current state through a well-defined number of steps towards target architecture.
Adapt the support systems within the domain to support the business processes for planning, building and operating with high degree of quality, automation and effectiveness.
Ensure quality of information in the support systems for the domain.
Managing the daily work in the function including; managing employees and consultants, supplier agreements, Service Persons and following up KPIs.
Maintain the roadmap for the support systems in the domain with deliveries on short term balanced against milestones to be met on medium and long term.


Requirements
Experience from leading teams based on principles of trust
Experience from lifecycle management of supporting systems within the telecommunication and/or IT space
Experience from working with enterprise architecture and driving project deliveries
Fluency in English and Swedish
University degree or equivalent
