Manager Noise & Vibration Laboratory

Position Description The group Noise & Vibration Laboratory is responsible for development, verification and validation of exterior and interior noise of complete trucks. The group consists of experts, test engineers and feature leaders, today around 12 persons. We work in a highly global working environment with the latest technology and advanced analytical methods. The group works cross-functionally in close cooperation with other parts of our development organization in order to deliver on our customer demands, fulfil future noise legislation, propose and evaluate concepts. This group, located in Gothenburg, has responsibility for the features interior and exterior noise. We are now looking for a new manager for this group, since the current manager is taking on a Senior Technology Specialist role within this area. As a manager of Noise & Vibration Laboratory you will be part of the management team of Feature Development in site Gothenburg. Requested Qualifications and Profile: M.Sc. or PhD university degree, preferably with specialization in acoustics area Interest in and experience of acoustics Interest in and previous experience of product development and vehicle technology Results oriented, genuine interest in leadership and development of co-workers, working methods and technology Experience from leading positions within line and/or project organization Highly developed communication and cooperation skills Very good English-knowledge, spoken as well as written Have the ability to be an inspiring leader and proven to be a good team builder The position will be located in the Lundby offices in Gothenburg, Sweden.
