Manager Supplier Development

We are currently looking for a person with high focus on quality & supplier development!

You will lead a new team, and take part in developing the ways of working for this area.To establish how to optimize the interaction and build strong relations with adjoining areas in Tetra Pak such as product development, sourcing, and parts supply chain will also be important for this role.

The Total Quality Supplier Management (TQSM) team is dedicated to Tetra Pak becoming the indisputable industry leader in quality, by leading systematic improvement activities with suppliers, and driving a quality mindset through the supply chain of Capital Equipment.

In your role as Manager Supplier Development you will lead a team within TQSM focusing on proactively improving supplier performance.The position will involve working in multinational environment and travels primarily in Europe.

As Manager Supplier Development you will also be responsible to:

- Plan and allocate resources to supplier validation and development activities
- Plan and drive the expansion of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for Tetra Pak Capital Equipment
- Drive continuous improvement of the supplier audit and improvement process for Capital Equipment
- Drive and follow up team members' performance;
- Develop team members competences and set their individual objectives;
Validate that the suppliers improve according to expectations.
- Encourage and push internal stakeholders to focus on quality in supplier selections and supplier base management


Kvalifikationer

Ideally you have a technical education including mechanical disciplines, and have strong experience in quality management in a production environment.
Additional to this you possess understanding of World Class Manufacturing or other recognised Continuous Improvement methodology.Previous knowledge of working with suppliers and PPAP is merited.We believe that you have previous experience from leading teams.

The person we are looking for has strong networking & communication ability and can work across organisational lines with significant supplier quality focus.We believe that he/she has a strong ability to coach the team members and drive the team towards challenging targets.Additionally she/he needs to take an analytical and systematic approach when dealing with quality aspects together with internal & external partners.
She/he is able to be a speaking partner within a multinational environment at all levels.As a result it is a prerequisite that you have a good command of English
