HVDC is looking for an experienced leader within HVDC Service. As Manager for the Technology and Engineering Department you will be responsible for the engineering of our HVDC Control and Protection upgrades, HVDC Care, Service Contracts and Warranty. The responsibility includes Application Programming and Electrical Design, Factory System Testing and Commissioning at site.

Your responsibilities
You will be a part of the Global HVDC Service Management Team.
Global responsibility for Engineering works within HVDC Service. The work entails occasional trips globally and you will collaborate with colleagues, project engineers and customers in Sweden and abroad.
You are responsible for tendering and keeping the budget for the Engineering parts from a Financial, Time and Quality perspective.
Take ownership together with your team and colleagues and develop the engineering processes. The role requires strong influencing skills across organizations and cultural boundaries.

Your background
You are expected to have a proven managerial experience and knowledge of HVDC, preferably within Control & Protection systems or site and commissioning.
You have great interpersonal skills and you enjoy being in a managerial role.
As a leader you inspire and motivate your colleagues and help them grow in their roles.
You are used to a multicultural and challenging global business environment and can handle several tasks in parallel.
Described as energetic, motivated, and self-confident person who can handle both ups and downs and manage problem that may occur.
Since you will work in a global environment, proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
