At Manufacturing Engineering, you are part of a global production team that makes sure that the cars we build meet the highest expectations from our customers. In close collaboration with colleagues in other business units, we develop and implement flexible and efficient production systems with people in focus. If you want to reach your personal goals together with other people, Manufacturing Engineering is the place to be. 

Manufacturing Engineer area is responsible to secure the manufacturability in the plants by driving our manufacturing requirements towards the product. This means that you will be the link between Engineering and Manufacturing, you need to create a wide network, that is beneficial for the tasks, but also for individual development. Our department is developing the total process of the final assembly including, creation of instruction, creating of tooling concept and the specifications of the needed production tools. 

What you'll do

You will work in the developing phase from project start to first physical verification.

•    Develop assembly instructions for the operators in the plant, based on manufacturing demands.  
•    Specify and develop process and tool setup needed in our production plants. 
•    Verify the process into the virtual phase and first physical build. 
•    Own the manufacturing demands towards the product over lifecycle time
•    Secure our manufacturing requirement towards R&D


What you'll bring

You have a Bachelor of science or similar and have experience of working within automotive manufacturing industry. You have good product and process development knowledge. Working with geometric assurance and/or design tool concept in CAD is a merit.
We are looking for a committed, positive and proactive Engineer who is enthusiastic about cars. You are target-oriented person with an open-minded attitude. Thanks to your advanced communication skills you have the ability to create good and trustful relationships. You have a holistic perspective and a good understanding of what compromises to make.
