The mission of the Global Market Analysis function is to support and improve profitable growth through competitive and profitable pricing, continuously implemented across all products and markets using efficient and competent people, systems and processes.

As Market Analyst, you will join a small but energetic, experienced and professional team with a positive attitude. We are driven by collaboration and continuous improvement and we are passionate about pricing. One of our team members is moving on in his career within Epiroc and we are now looking for his successor.


Your mission
 In this role, you will be responsible to, in close collaboration with Customer Centers, manage and control strategic price differentiation in local and regional markets. We believe in the power of pricing and you will proactively drive improvement activities across the pricing spectrum to assure profitable and competitive pricing.

As a central pricing champion, you are an ambassador and promoter of the importance of pricing, continuously and openly collaborating with stakeholders both within the division and with Customer Centers. With a transparent and consistent approach, we aim to continuously improve knowledge and capability throughout the pricing organization and you are expected to drive performance, compliance and best practices within price implementation, governance and relevant pricing policies and processes.

Taking the lead on regional pricing forums, making efficient use of pricing resources, analyzing and taking actions on price trend, market trends and currency effect are all core responsibilities in this position.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ad-hoc price and market analyses upon request and on own initiative and to secure continuous flow of market intelligence to and from the division.


Your profile
You are a self-starter with an established business acumen and customer-centric approach. You have exceptional analytical capabilities and you are comfortable in handling and studying complex and large data sets.

In parallel, you are able to fully balance different business requirements and objectives and present fact-based analyses and proposals to other stakeholders and management. With your structured and pedagogical approach, you are able to create trust and buy-in on different levels in the organization. You have a very strong command in MS Excel.

We believe you have a University degree in relevant field, such as Business or Engineering, or have acquired similar competence through work experience. Project management and problem-solving skills are meriting. Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required.


Location and travel
This position is preferably located in Örebro, Sweden. For the right candidate, we are willing to discuss alternative location. Occasional travel 20-30 days per year is required.
