A day in the life of an Associate
As a Market Director, you will play the central role for developing our sales team in Sweden. You will have overall accountability for the Swedish market and the team of 74 associates, setting the strategy in line with North Europe targets and segment priorities, operationally lead the market by managing and inspiring the team of six associates in the Swedish Leadership Team.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Active member of the North Europe Leadership Team.
Create and deploy Market vision to achieve desired results
Responsible for driving and influencing the overall P&L shape/targets as agreed in the Mars North Europe Management team
To establish an Annual Business Plan, set strategic objectives and deliver results through clear, effective and measurable activities
Delivering the agreed financial commitments
Manage, support and develop strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders (both internal & external) through collaborative long-term strategies
Build our corporate reputation externally in Sweden
Build a winning Swedish leadership team to ensure excellent execution of the overall business strategies
Leadership and development of the Swedish Sales Organisation
Focus on continued development of Associate engagement
Implement defined/aligned Mars North Europe Talent Strategy and achieve defined success KPI`s

What are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are deeply passionate about Sales, Customers and Leadership of our associates
Ideally You are/have:
Minimum of ten years of FMCG experience within sales management and leading a successful team
At least bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or another related field
Strong leadership and team building skills, able to build trust and drive a shared vision, and coach, mentor, build and develop the team towards a common goal
Experience of working in an international business environment
Excellent negotiation skills, combined with a win-win mindset
Strong ability to successfully influence and operate at different levels in an organization (Strategic and operating context)
Strategic mind with excellent analytical skills
Goal oriented with high levels of energy, stamina and drive.
A passionate enthusiast with the personal drive and ambition to meet the clear opportunities for the business in Sweden
You have a strong strategic and analytical skills, while being a great team player, approachable and love contributing to a positive atmosphere in the organization.
