Market Services developer

We are now looking to extend the Order and Trade Management team to support us in the development of functionality for Market Servers and MiFID related requirements. Given the skill & experience requirements of this role, we will look both for internal and external recourses to take on this challenge. Job Description This role resides within the Order and Trade Management development team. We are looking for an ambitious developer who can contribute with new ideas and enthusiasm to the team. This team member will initially take responsibility for the development of new functionality and refactoring of existing functionality around our internal market. The first tasks will be focused on extending our offering with new functionality to comply with Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) requirements as well as other support needed in FRONT ARENA to meet our customer needs. In this role you will contribute to our success by: . Participating in the development of high performance distribution of market data, trades and order management. . Designing and building new internal market services to provide new functionality in FRONT ARENA. Skills and past experience A suitable candidate will possess some of the following skills and past experience: Business oriented skills: . Knowledge about capital markets, i.e. financial software and trading relating processes. . Ability to focus on business & customer needs. Personal skills: . Good team player. . A sincere interest in building common components to be used by other developers when building specialized components. The ideal applicant should have experience from one or several of the areas listed below: . .NET Experience. . Client/Server development in a MS Windows environment. . Service Oriented Architecture and design. . FRONT ARENA development or implementation is valued. . System integration and multi-threaded real-time systems. . The financial sector. . Object oriented programming C# and/or C++. . MS SQL Server. . Requirement analysis and specification.
