LYNK & CO is owned by Geely Auto which is a Chinese multinational automotive company headquartered in Hangzhou, China.

Market Specification Manager

As Market Specification Manager you will be responsible for securing the competitiveness of our products along the life-cycle in regards to how the products are specified (features and functions). You do this by having a good understanding of the brand- and business strategies of LYNK & CO as well as market and competitor development and the technical possibilities within the top-hats and platforms from LYNK & CO. You will get input and requests from among others our sales and aftersales organizations on needs as well as generate needs based on internal analysis. You will be responsible for relaying and securing the timely delivery of market specifications based on those needs, for both future cars as well as cars in market.

High level of product understanding is necessary to succeed in this position. Also a keen sense of how the business is effected by the products specifications and how to manage complexity in a product specification is vital. The ability to intellectually move quickly between discussions on numbers, customers, products, specifications, features and business will be valuable.

Responsibilities and tasks

You will be the “owner” of the market specification structure within LYNK & CO and will work closely both with car line management, market equation and commercial management. The work requires collaboration with the technical side of the product development within the Geely Auto group and CEVT and in that capacity you will be responsible for developing the requests and definition of what the commercial side needs.

Develop market specifications and definitions based on customer, brand, business and market strategies in combination with competitive offers.

Requirements

- B.Sc. Engineering or similar education, Marketing experience is beneficial
- Experience from market specification management.
- Ability to transform customer and market needs and wants into market specification requests and requirements
- Strong excel and business analytical skills, business focus, customer value understanding
- Good analytical skills and business understanding is beneficial in this position
- Team player with a “can do” attitude
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- And mostly, that you enjoy being part of a great team and that you like responsibility and making quick decisions.
- Fluency in English, oral and written.
- Ability to travel
