What you’ll do

In preparation for the next phase of our development, we’re systematically remodeling our business model. Our transformation projects steer the transition from a wholesale model to direct sales, where customers can buy through our website, at Volvo retailers, or with the assistance of approved agents.

The Transformation team is in the epicenter of this transformation and consists of roles such as Transformation Lead, Project Management Office (PMO), and Market Transformation Specialist. This team orchestrates the market transformations through a solid governance structure leveraging on the established workstream drivers and core team to make things happen.

Do you want to contribute to our transformation journey by ensuring transformation operations run smoothly, all stakeholders are onboarded, where support and efforts are focused where and when needed, for the program to deliver towards the goals?

The role of Market Transformation Specialist is an instrumental part of the Market Transformation teams. You will support one of our transformation projects in driving and implementing major changes across the organization. It includes managing cross-functional activities, spanning across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Digital, etc. in our joint efforts to get exciting new ways of working and digital capabilities implemented in a good way. Consequently, you need to have a broad understanding of different parts of an organization and how to get these to work in an efficient way towards common goals.

* Drive and coordinate transformation activities across teams and functions
* Communicate and align with key stakeholders
* Conduct analyses on project challenges and come up with solutions for how to overcome those within the project
* Take an essential role to identify, investigate, and solve issues that arise and manage dependencies across the functions and teams
* Support with necessary onboarding activities towards national sales companies, central functions, product teams, and other stakeholders across the organization
* Support Market Transformation lead to plan, coordinate, and execute the overall market transformation
* Continuously identify lessons learnt, share cross different teams, and contribute to our continuous improvement with the Market Transformation teams


We operate from our headquarters in Gothenburg in a hybrid setting in agreement with your manager.

What you’ll bring


* Experience from project management, desirably in large, complex projects or programs in cross-functional teams in a global business
* Good understanding of commercial, digital, and operational needs as well as their interdependencies
* Experience from business analysis and process design with the ability to use appropriate tools when needed
* Clear understanding around agile development and how related implementations are handled effectively
* Fluent in digital tools such as Teams, Notion, Miro, and Blueworks – or very willing and able to learn
* Fluent in English, verbally and written
* Experience from the automotive industry is desirable


You are highly flexible when it comes to various types of assignments and able to handle shifting priorities in our busy work environment. You are structured in your approach with an ability to find clarity in highly complex and large contexts. You enjoy and are capable of handling the combination between thinking strategically and getting things done, as well as digging into details when needed to understand the bigger picture.

You thrive in a collaborative environment where you get to take accountability, and you have great communication and interpersonal skills.
