Marketing Communications Professional - Rock Tools

Marketing Communications Professional - Rock Tools

Arbetsbeskrivning

For Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions and division Rock Tools, we’re now searching for a confident, curious and driven Marketing Communications Professional. Do you enjoy an innovative setting where you get to connect with all parts of the business? Are you also looking for a diverse and experienced team with lots of energy and passion for communication? Then we’ve got the perfect job for you!

Communication is key in most organizations, and especially in our highly decentralized Sandvik world. Our mission within Marketing & Communications is to enforce the Sandvik Rock Tools brand by answering questions like - how do we reach out to our customers with the right message at the right time, and what are the best ways to support our sales areas? To raise the bar even higher, we need to strengthen our team, and we want you to join us!

What you do?
The Rock Tools Marketing & Communications team is responsible for communicating our products and solutions to the market, and you actively collaborate with your team members to support the execution of our strategy and maximize customer value. Your responsibilities include internal and external brand communication – such as creating presentations, brochures, promotional materials and social media content – and you support and advise on the most appropriate channels to reach our objectives. As digitalization affects us all, one of our focus areas is digital marketing, where you update our external websites and build brand awareness by supporting social media activities. Previous knowledge of video production and editing is beneficial, as this would enable us to further develop in the field of digital media content.

You collaborate with our product managers to develop strategies and coordinate activities related to product launches, and you plan and perform webinars to educate and inform members of our organization from a marketing perspective. Naturally, you also create strong internal and external networks, and you establish partnerships with marketing agencies.

The location for this job is Sandviken, and the position may include some global business trips on a yearly basis.

Who you are?
We’re looking for someone with experience from managing B2B marketing communications projects in a global setting, preferably connected to the mining industry, technical products or at a communications agency. Your knowledge is most likely grounded by a degree in Marketing or Communications, but you might also have gained the necessary skills and experience from working in the field. To be successful in this position, you do need excellent communication abilities, and you have an interest in digital marketing. You know your way in the Adobe suite - using programs like InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects – and you also manage SharePoint, WordPress or similar content management systems. Working in a global environment calls for fluency in written and verbal English and as we’re based in Sweden, we consider knowledge of Swedish as a big plus.

With a confident doer’s attitude, you know how to make things happen, and you challenge us in finding new approaches by being convincing and standing your ground. As you’re a good listener, you easily grasp the needs of our business, and you have a multi-tasking nature that supports you in driving different projects simultaneously. Add a passion for collaboration and a great ability to create networks, and you’re the perfect match for this job!
