Arbetsbeskrivning

As Material Controller you are responsible to ensure parts arrive in time and with the right quantities to Skovde plant. Your responsibility may cover up to an additional 3 other PTP sites, depending on the assigned portfolio.
 
As Material Controller, your primary tasks are:
Monitoring deliveries and act on deviations
Communication with suppliers and colleagues within the Volvo Group
Manage deviations swiftly and take decisions in the most cost efficient way in order to minimize
risks of disturbances & cost impact
Actively manage inventory levels and work on improvements to support positive development
of your portfolio
Continuous improvement related to your work, i.e ways of working, transport, inventory etc
Continuously contribute by developing yourself and your team 

Qualifications


We are looking for a person with preferably an academic degree related to Supply Chain or Logistics as well as proven work experience. You should feel comfortable to work with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
Very good knowledge in English is essential and fluent in Swedish. French is considered a merit.
