As a Material Developer, your main responsibility is to develop the right properties of the materials in prototypes and finally the finished product.Material properties are highly dependent on manufacturing processes; therefore process development is an important part of the job.The position is located at HQ in Gothenburg.Position Description: .Participate in a cross disciplinary project team and contribute with material and process competence to fulfill the project goals.. Search for and propose material components for prototypes and products needed in the project..Identify, propose and develop processing solutions for materials to fulfill the defined design requirements..Create and maintain contacts with suppliers of materials and processing equipment.. Together with the project team supply the project with prototypes produced in our process laboratory and in production plants for evaluations.. Run external material development projects together with suppliers and other partners.. Documentation of the material development work Background and personal qualities: . MSc in Chemical technology, preferably specialized in material technology/chemistry..Practical disposition and interest in running machinery and other pilot equipment.. Minimum 3 years of experience from manufacturing industry..
