Material Flow Engineer

Job scope
Material Flow Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing efficient material flow solutions for battery cell manufacturing.
Responsible to ensure seamless logistics, automation integration, and supply chain efficiency to support high-volume battery cell production.
Responsible for collaboration cross-functionally with production, automation, quality, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvements in material handling and factory logistics.
Responsible for collaboration with the suppliers and be part of a cross-functional NOVO team to deliver the detailed design of equipment and bring it on speed.
Responsible for training and guide new process engineers and support functions how to work with the equipment.

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in material flow engineering, factory logistics preferably within battery cell manufacturing, automotive, or high-volume production industries.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Just-in-Time (JIT) principles.
Experience with AGVs, AMRs, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
Familiarity in AutoCAD and flow simulation tools.
Analytical skills with experience in process mapping and data-driven decision-making.
Experience in high-volume battery cell gigafactory automated manufacturing operations is a preferred qualification.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 solutions and predictive analytics for material flow.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
Industrial experience in demanding industrial environments.
