Material Handler

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our great team.

Within Product Builds we are responsible to procure & purchase prototype parts, lead prototype builds and drive logistics and warehouses within GTT Lundby.

This position is within our logistic team working with:
Unload trailers from the Warehouse for further distribution of parts and components to the different GTT workshops and labs within site Lundby
Request procurement and supply of standard parts to work shops (Kanban set up)
Collection and transport of waste from different facilities on the Lundby site for transport to the environmental areas where it will be picked up for recycling
Supply forklift service on the area

You need to be strongly service minded, enjoying to give support to our customers and always striving to meet your deliveries.

We have done a lot of changes to adapt our logistic setup to new demands coming with the build of Campus Lundby as well as to support our customer in the best way and need now to increase our staff.

Responsibilities
Handling of incoming and outbound material between our goods hub and the main warehouse
Preparing and handling shipments
Forklift driving between our goods hub and the different workshops
Kanban supply
Daily contacts versus workshops and different engineering areas
Collection and transport of recycling items

What we are looking for
Experience from working in a warehouse and/ or workshop
Good administrative and computer skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
Experience of working in a company with Product Development and/or Manufacturing
Forklift driver’s license
A good truck and/or powertrain knowledge is an advantage
Knowledge of Volvo’s GLORIA and KOLA systems is an advantage
