IES Östersund is now recruiting a qualified teacher of Maths and Science for grade 6 or 7, to join our fantastic working environment.

Internationella Engelska Skolan is a truly international school. We have staff and students from all over the world contributing to a dynamic international atmosphere. Our schools are bilingual with up to 50% of teaching in English and follow the Swedish national curriculum.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Östersund will open in August 2020. The school will start with 11 classes from “förskoleklass” to grade 7, developing into grade 9 with time. It is a school where every student is seen and where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.

We are looking for a teacher who, like us, believes in giving students the opportunity to realise their full potential, whatever their background. You must also be passionate about maths and science, able to inspire your students. You have the tools to create a calm learning environment and can differentiate your teaching. We require:

- Current teaching license/registration with relevant higher education from outside of Sweden or Swedish “läralegitimation” (TEFL/CELTA are not sufficient)
- English native speaker
