Research Analyst - Financial institutions McKinsey & Company is a global management consulting firm with 82 offices in 44 countries, serving the leaders of large organizations on matters of strategy, organization, technology, and operations.Our mission is two-fold: to help our clients make positive, lasting, and substantial improvements in their performance, and to build a great firm that is able to attract, develop, excite, and retain exceptional people.McKinsey's European Financial Institution Center (EFIC) is looking for a research analyst for our Stockholm office.EFIC, McKinsey's largest single knowledge management unit, handles research- and information-related requests within the financial institution industry.We operate as one group out of 11 McKinsey European offices, with hubs in London and Frankfurt.In Scandinavia, the EFIC group works out of the Stockholm office but on a Scandinavian level.At the European level, EFIC has four interest groups: Retail & Universal Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management.As part of EFIC, you will develop a strategic perspective while gaining a deep understanding on how leading financial institutions function.Working with a team of highly talented and committed people, you will build on your functional experience, enhance your analytical and leadership skills, and apply your mind to the issues that count.As a Research Analyst, you will collect, analyze, and synthesize financial trends and insights to help consulting teams solve client-specific problems.Moreover, you will work on McKinsey proprietary research projects to broaden the firm's functional and industry knowledge within one of our four interest groups.This will include developing and updating market-, and company analysis.Based in our Stockholm Office, you will work with international teams, answer enquiries from around the globe, and partake in multiple knowledge sharing events across the Continent.You will also have an opportunity to pursue short-term transfers to other European offices.Profile of ideal candidates * Master of Science degree in business/economics with distinct performance * Recent graduate with up to two years of work experience * Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills * Professional attitude and service mindedness * Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities * Eagerness to take on responsibility * Proficiency in English and in one Scandinavian language Application process If this sounds interesting, please send your application as soon as possible.We are continously conducting interviews so it is important that you apply as soon as possible, no later than the 26th of November.Your application must include CV, cover letter and grade transcripts from both university studies and high school studies.Click the link and you will be redirected to the right place.
