Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a high‑tech energy sector team.
What you will work on:
Design and develop large metal structures, welded assemblies, and machined components
Create 3D models and technical documentation using SOLIDWORKS
Work with PLM systems (e.g., Aras) to manage engineering data
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability
Support design reviews, technical investigations, and continuous improvement of design practices
Solve complex engineering challenges in a safety-critical environment

What you bring:
Proven experience in mechanical design for heavy industry, process industry, or large-structure projects
Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS
Experience with welded structures, machined parts, and complex assemblies
Knowledge of engineering standards and design-for-manufacturing principles
Medior to Senior-level experience
Experience with Aras PLM is advantageous
Positive, structured, and solution-oriented team player
Good communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
Fluent in English; Swedish is preferable
Willingness to work on-site in central Stockholm
