About the position.

As a Mechanical Designer at Svabo, you will work independently with designing superstructures such as vehicle cabins, tool cabinets and flatbeds on rail vehicles, as well as designing interiors for craft cars and animal transports. You are also responsible for written documentation of the projects among other things.

Based on the sales department's data, you create cost-effective production data for customer-unique projects and update according to existing standards if necessary. The role is independent, but for your assistance you have several experienced colleagues to work together with.

At Svabo, we use Autodesk Inventor as CAD system.

Svabo is located in Kristianstad, but you will have the opportunity to work remotely.



Are you the right person for this job?

We are looking for you who are a university engineer or have equivalent work experience and have a great technical interest and preferably practical experience of production. You have experience of working with 3D CAD systems.

The position at Svabo is suitable for you who find it exciting to work with design. You like to have communication with different types of people and have a genuine desire to do a good job. As a person, you have your own drive and good ability to work independently.

You need to have good knowledge of English in speech and writing, Swedish is a benefit but not a must.
