ReformTech is a CleanTech start-up company headquartered in Sundbyberg, Sweden. Based on a unique technology platform of catalytic fuel processing ReformTech develops Clean Heater and Hydrogen Generator products that significantly reduce emission levels, are key for a shift towards more environmental friendly energy and propulsion systems, and are essential components in many new markets/products (for instance new electrical hybrid vehicles - see www.reformtech.se) Our customers are large system integrators throughout the world and employees at ReformTech shall be totally dedicated to make a real difference to the environment by taking cutting edge technology to robust products together with these customers.Right now, we are looking for a mechanical designer for our development department.WE OFFER *An opportunity to grow and build a new company and have a real possibility to make a difference.*A rewarding workplace where you will meet people who sometimes are even smarter than you!*The opportunity to work with products that are beneficial for the Environment *The challenge to develop robust products based on cutting edge technologies YOUR PROFILE ReformTech is not for everyone.You will be working with cutting edge solution and will often be challenged to find new solutions without prior versions to guide you.We expect you to be self-propelled, well-educated, smart, and professional but also to have a sense of humor.In general, at ReformTech we hire you more for who you are and how fast you will learn, than for your previous experience (however, for this position we believe that hands on experience is of extra significance)..If you are the right person, and a fast learner, we will have no problem training you for what you need to know.For this position we have the following requirements: *A Masters degree in mechanical engineering with excellent academic performance and grades.*2-10 years of experience from new product development in industry.Preferably, in the vehicle industry.*Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and experience of working close with suppliers/partners to enhance manufacturability & reach cost targets.*Good knowledge about Solid Works CAD environment *Fluent in Swedish and English.In addition, we consider it a merit if you also: *Speak more languages than those required above (tell us which) *Have other skills, such as; -Tinker with motors/cars/engines -Playing music instruments, etc. -Have a background in sports.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES *Mechanical design of catalytic heater and reformer products.*Component selection, together with purchasing, based on requirement specifications and cost targets.
