Mechanical Engineer - for mechanical design within R&D The Job FOSS has a vacant position for a Mechanical Engineer at R&D in Höganäs.The selected candidate will work with mechanical design in our future analytical instruments.At R&D we develop the core modules in our instruments as well as the full instrument with integrated electronics, optics, and software.In order to secure top performance and stay in the lead we must have a clear focus and dedication to the preformance of the whole measuring chain.That includes working with the latest technologies in all related fields and to collaborate with Universities when needed.The job will be very free and we greatly encourage own initiatives and drive. Qualifications *Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.*Experience with the CAD tools Inventor and/or Mechanical Desktop/Pro Engineer.*Experience with temperature and vibration simulations in opto-mechanical constructions and tolerance analysis is useful *Experience in design for manufacturing is a plus *Understanding of spectrometer technologies is a clear advantage.*Result oriented - enjoys getting things done!*Good at cross-functional cooperation - you are a team player.
