About the job
Operations Development is reinforcing the team with a Mechanical engineer. Your focus will be on the brazing process development to develop our global world-class heat exchanger production. In this role you will be an important member of a central development team with global responsibility. Your task will be fixture design, process simulation and development in close cooperation with suppliers, manufacturing units and product development, challenging existing concepts within manufacturing. Main responsibilities include:

- Design and optimize brazing fixtures and equipment.

- Simulate and optimize the brazing process

- Innovate, develop, verify, and implement new equipment/technologies/processes/systems

- Challenge existing technologies/processes/systems



The position is based in Lund and you will report to an Operations Development Managers. The role may involve travelling up to 30 days per year.

Who you are
As a person, you are curious, enthusiastic and a committed problem solver with a great technical interest and an open mind to new technology. You have a strategic perspective in combination with good practical skills. You are a team player with experience from working in projects and motivated both by finding solutions and executing projects, with a good diplomatic sense.

What you know
You have a M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering with several years of industrial experience. Good knowledge of CAD design, FEM calculations, materials science and manufacturing technology is a prerequisite.
