Mechanical Engineer – Diesel Engines to Modis!

We at Modis are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for an exciting role at a world leading, international customer.

About the role

In this Mechanical Engineer role, you will design technical solutions for various diesel engine projects according to given prerequisites. You will also be responsible for documentation related to the engine projects.

Besides engine projects you will be involved in product maintenance activities such as function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality target and regulations.

About you

If you are a passionate team player with the drive to deliver great results, you will fit perfectly for this role.

We believe that you have a mechanical engineering degree with a few years´ experience, excellent communication skills and are used to work in a high tempo. It is a plus if you have experience from the automotive industry.

You are skilled in 3D modelling and 2D drawing and have used CATIA V5 previously, It is beneficial if you have used Windchill and Creo as well. If you have experience from root cause analysis and problem solving on top of that you will be perfectly suited for this role.

We put strong emphasis on personal qualities and we believe you are target-driven and structured with strong analytical skills and a curious mind.

Fluency in English, written and oral, is a requirement and Swedish is beneficial.
