Mechanical Engineer - for product maintenance and redesign The Job FOSS Analytical AB located in Höganäs has an open assignment for a Mechanical Engineer starting as soon as possible.The selected candidate will be part of the Product Maintenance & Production Engineering department and work with the maintenance of Mechanical designs which are part of FOSS Analyticals' advanced analysis instruments.Investigation of failures, re-design and test of Mechanical designs will be part of the job-responsibility.The job has close relations to col-leagues in Production Engineering as well as Production, R&D and Customer Sup-port.FOSS Analyticals' instruments are based on various advanced optical technolo-gies.A combination of mechanical and optical knowledge would therefore be ideal for the applying candidate.Qualifications . Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering..Min.5 years experienced in design and/or maintenance of mechanics . Advanced M-CAD user..Candidates with knowledge of optical technologies are preferred.. Result oriented.Excellent in driving and finalising tasks.. Analytical and systematical working style.. Good at cross-functional cooperation..Understanding of other technical disciplines such as electronics and chemi-cal engineering is an advantage .
