Poolia Väst Presentation We are now looking for a membrane protein biochemist.Arbetsuppgifter In this role the main task is project related lab work aimed at expression and purification of membrane proteins from various host systems.The work includes screening for functional expression and extraction and affinity purification of over-produced membrane proteins.Functionality will be monitored by radioactive toxin/ligand binding assays and experience with working with radioactive binding assays is an advantage. Utbildning/erfarenhet You should have a PhD in biochemistry and extensive hands-on experience with membrane protein production and purification.It requires excellent interpersonal skills and you need to work efficiently on your own initiative as well as in a team. Extensive problem solving and self-motivation are crucial personal attributes.
