SinterCast is the world leading supplier of on-line process control technology for the reliable high-volume production of Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) SinterCast provides CGI solutions to the global foundry and automotive industries As a result of our growing market penetration we now seek to expand the Team at our Technical Centre in Sweden with the following new position: Metallurgical Research Engineer .Define, conduct, evaluate and report on R&D projects .Metallurgical evaluation including metallographic, mechanical property and chemical analysis .Plan and conduct industrial scale liquid iron experiments including data collection and presentation of results to potential customers .Software implementation of metallurgical know-how into industrial control systems Reporting to the Data Analysis Manager, the successful applicant will have a metallurgical background.Industrial experience from the iron or steel industries would be a merit.This position offers exciting opportunities for a self-motivated and flexible individual with a strong appreciation for full Customer service.The ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, is a requirement.
