Middle Office-Risk Controller

Volvo Cars are in the process of establishing a Treasury organization and are looking to fill the position of middle office controller. The middle office controller will be responsible for the measurement, management and reporting of Treasury risk in accordance with the Treasury policies of Volvo Car Corporation. Included in the position is also to analyze performance of Treasury

Responsibilities:

Monitor, follow up, analyze and report interest, foreign exchange and counterparty risk
Define risk limits in the system
Follow up and analyze performance/result for the Treasury department
Perform and report on sensitivity analyses (interest and FX rate
movements)
Mark to market (MtM) reporting
Reconciliation of MtM values per counterparty and agreement of margin payments
Other management and external reporting
Responsible for Bank Mandates and Powers of Attorney for bank transactions
Co-ordinate system administration of the Treasury system (Wall Street Treasury)
Compile disclosure information for annual financial statement
Responsible for compliance with loan and ISDA agreements


Qualifications:

Degree in Finance / Business administration
Experience from a Treasury department or bank
Worked with financial risk, preferably to monitor and follow up
counterparty, interest and foreign exchange risk
Knowledge of financial instruments and the accounting and controlling of financial instruments
Fluent in spoken and written English
PC literate with good knowledge and proficiency in Excel
