We are curreently looking for qualified midwives for maternity hospitals in Ireland.
Preference is given to midwives with experience but applicants without experience are also considered.
Good English essential.Excellent salary and working conditions.
Assistance with Registration and relocation is provided.


Purpose of Role

The postholder is expected to be able to give the necessary supervision, care and advice to women during pregnancy, labour and postnatal period.She must be able to conduct deliveries on her own responsibility and to care for the sick and premature newborn infant seeking medical assistance when required.

Principal Responsibilities

To maintain high standards of Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing care.
To be responsible for the assessment, implementation and evaluation of care.
To maintain accurate records as required by ward/department.
To observe and abide by the Rules and Code of professional conduct of An Bord Altranais.
To take responsibility for personal development and education and to keep abreast of professional developments.
To attend unit/team perinatal meetings.
