Job description
Do you want to be part of creating history in Swedish Space Industry? In 2021, we plan to launch satellites from Esrange outside of Kiruna in the North of Sweden. Now there is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the preparation and operation of the new satellite launcher site and the new rocket motor test capabilities currently under construction. Esrange Space Center is the launch and operations facility of SSC, located outside Kiruna in the north of Sweden. At Esrange we have excellent launching facilities and provide services to scientists and space organizations worldwide.

Responsibilities
As a Mission Manager for orbital launches, you will lead the process from customer contract to launch vehicle integration and operations activities for assigned the program. You will organize and represent SSC at launch integration & operations reviews with the SSC team and customers. You will manage all schedule & technical commitments while maintaining the overall program cost requirements. You will coordinate all launch related for the assigned program. Manage & ensure export compliance to all launch related Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs) and Technology Transfer Control Plans (TTCPs). 

Working hours


We offer a permanent position. Daytime 40h/week.
Your workplace will be at Esrange/Kiruna.





Qualifications


We believe you hold a master’s degree in the space or aerospace technical field. 
You should have extensive knowledge in some of the areas of:  Orbit Dynamics, Structural Analysis, Thermal Analysis, Systems Engineering, or Launch Systems.
Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills in english are required. 
Launch Operations experience is useful, but not necessarily required. 




Experience
It is desirable to have several years of experience in rocket launches
