Our client in Stockholm is looking for Modelling Engineer - GSM Network Simulation. The contract is for 6 months with possible extensions. Key skills: GSM, Simulation Design, Performance verification, RRM, Traffic Modelling, QoS Job Description: . Develop models of GSM Performance Design functions to enable performance verification . Design Network Simulation comprising various GSM performance functions models . Develop simulation of Traffic profiles as input data for observing the performance Design behaviour . Provide dynamic model of improved GSM performance functions for verifying their performance . Develop specific simple functions implementation models for evaluating performance improvements . Verify performance requirements of improved design using modelling, Tools and other techniques Essential Skills required: . Hands-on experience in using various modelling methods and/or simulation Tools . Experience in generating simple models reflecting functional behaviour . Experience of using MATLAB/SIMULINK/OPNET or other industry standards techniques and Tools for simulating functional and performance behaviour Additional skills required: . Fluent spoken and written English . Good communications and presentation skills . The ability to communicate and work in multicultural team environment. Beneficial: . Good knowledge of GSM Traffic signalling specifications . Good knowledge of BSC functions Independent consultants may also apply.
