Molecular spectroscopy specialist

Serstech develops and manufactures handheld Raman spectrometers for the global security community. Typica customers include law enforcement, border control and fire departments, which all need to identify hazardous chemicals quickly and safely.

Handheld spectrometers require highly specialized engineering in optics, software, algorithms, and electronics. Serstech is therefore looking for a molecular spectroscopy specialist, with detailed knowledge of optical designs of spectrometers.

Requirements for the position

1. At least three years of research experience in molecular spectroscopy or similar areas
2. Preference will be given to post-doc candidates
3. In-depth knowledge in phenomena such as fluorescence and other challenges present in molecular spectroscopy solutions
4. Experience in working with SERS (Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy)
5. Master of Science or higher degree in Photonics or similar area
6. Experience in multimodal imaging techniques
7. Fluency in English. Swedish language skills not necessary.
