Your job is singular - reveal the story. Your means to deliver - multi-faceted, collaborative, and honed.

Your role in the bigger picture
As Narrative Designer, you ensure that all development pulls in the same direction, guaranteeing the game's story and the player's experience converge.

You are at the helm of world-building and the emergent narratives that conceive our living, reactive world. Adept in harnessing game mechanics, capable of wrangling dialogue systems, and skilled in coordination, you constantly strive to find the fun and reveal the story in a collaborative, iterative fashion.

- As a hardened professional you have learned to express and champion the world narrative. You openly share your knowledge of narrative design to evolve the character, world-building, tone, dialog, and other storytelling tools.

- The breadth of your submitted work includes feature or quest designs, pen-and-paper table-top/RPG-style prototypes, and links or highlights of shipped mods or game samples.

- Your work is concise and your proficiency as a narrative designer is unequivocal. The samples you provide are as distinct as they are creative. From world-building and lore to character dialogue and combat barks, your portfolio is unambiguous.

- Your experience and success as a Narrative Designer are undeniable. You are proven in the process of delivering rich worlds and AAA-scale player experiences, with practical experience and a comprehensive understanding of story-telling in every facet of the development life-cycle.

- You are proven with branching dialogue quest systems but never rest on your laurels. You understand the organizational challenges of bringing bold, branching, open-world stories to life. And you are convinced games can do it better.
